Gangway

Gangway s an equipment for jetty perators and crews to board and disembark from the vessel ships safely in the process ship mooring at modern large wharf.t is used to replace the traditional boarding adder which is self-carried by the ship.

During the development of the oil tanker wharf, the modern wharf for heavy oil tanker entering,especially the wharf sets up with isolated mound, its surace are not continous and its elevation is higher than the normal one.The oil tanker will jounce and drit frequently and with relatively large range.

Due to the large fender of the wharf, the distance between the ship side and the jetty face is quite long.This problem is hard to be solved by the tanker's self-carried ladder as the ship side and the jetty face is quite long due to the large fender installed.Therefore,in order to speed up ship loading and unloading and ensure the safety of people getting on and off the tanker ship, it is an inevitable choice to replace the ship sel- carrid ladder with gangway, Just like marine loading arms, gangway has become an irreplaceable equipment used at more and more wharfs.

Despite its simple function, gangway must have good technical performance due to the environment in which it is located. In order to adapt to the conditions of constant turbulence between ship and shore,as well as possible contingencies,the design of gangway should be based on detailed analysis of the local hydrological and meteorological data as well as the relevant information of potential tanker ships, so as to determine its suitable operating conditions.Only by choosing the correct structure design and reliable safety protection measures can the desired purpose be achieved

We will design the gangway based on the requirements from our client. Gangway is generally drived by mechanical and electro-hydraulic system. In order to ensure the safety of the transmission mechanism, various safety protection devices are set up according to the needs in the design,and explosionproof electrical devices are selected according to the characteristics of the oil products in the dock operation.
